PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult to visually recognize an information code in a normal time, and on the other hand, to make it possible to securely read the information code when reading by using a special reader.SOLUTION: In an information code reading system 1, a light-color module region and a dark-color module region of an information code C added to an information code forming medium 10 are respectively set to an inversion region and a non-inversion region. An information code reading device 40 is provided with a second illumination light source 44 capable of irradiating the information code forming medium 10 with illumination light in a second wavelength band, and the information code forming medium 10 is imaged in a state in which the information code forming medium 10 is irradiated with the illumination light in the second wavelength band. The inversion region and the non-inversion region are discriminated and detected in an image of the imaged information code forming medium 10 such that the regions of the light-color module and dark-color module are extracted, and the information code C is deciphered on the basis of the extraction result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
