PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanoparticle size measurement method that enables a measurement of a particle size with excellent accuracy even when the particle size of a measurement object is equal to or less than 10nm.SOLUTION: A nanoparticle size measurement method is configured to: observe a reference nanoparticle contained in a reference nanoparticle dispersion sample by means of a transmission electron microscope; acquire a first average particle size of the reference nanoparticle; acquire a particle size of a first dispersant contained in the reference nanoparticle dispersion sample, and a first hydraulic particle size of the reference nanoparticle from the first average particle size; acquire a first holding time in a field flow fractionation of the reference nanoparticle dispersion sample; prepare a correlation line between the first hydraulic particle size and the first holding time; acquire a second holding time in a field flow fractionation of a nanoparticle dispersion sample containing a nanoparticle and second dispersant; acquire a second hydraulic particle size corresponding to the second holding time from the correlation line; and acquire a particle size of the nanoparticle from the second hydraulic particle size, and a particle size of the second dispersant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
