摘要 PURPOSE:To make the flow-speed distribution of buffer solution uniform in an electrophoresis tank by suppressing the flow speed at a part where the flow speed of the buffer solution flowing through the inside of the electrophoresis tank is high with magnetoresistance, and accelerating the flow speed at a part where the flow speed is low with electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the flow speed distribution of buffer solution 6 which flows into an electrophoresis tank 3, the flow speed at the central part between walls 10 and 11 tends to become high because of the effect of viscous resistance for the walls 10 and 11, and the flow speed tends to become lower at parts closer to the walls 10 and 11. A magnetic field B which is formed between the N pole of a magnet 12 and the S pole of a magnet 13 acts on the flow of the buffer solution 6. The faster the flow speed of the buffer solution, the stronger the magnetoresistance tends to act on the buffer solution. Therefore, the buffer solution 6 flowing through the central part between the walls 10 and 11 is subject to the magnetoresistance of the magnetic field B, and the flow speed of the buffer solution passing the central part between the walls 10 and 11 is suppressed.
