PURPOSE:To increase adhesion strength between information tracks comprising UV-curing resin and a glass substrate by specifying the range of the compsn. of glass components to be used as the glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:The optical information recording medium has a substrate formed by providing a primer layer on a glass substrate and then providing information tracks of recessed and projected grooves comprising acrylic UV- curing resin thereon. The primer layer consists of a silane coupling agent, titanate coupling agent or aluminum coupling agent having double bonds. The glass substrate consists of >=70% SiO2 and <=15% Al2O3. When a glass of this compsn range is used, the obtd. optical information recording medium has high reliability with large adhesion strength between the UV-curing resin layer and the glass substrate, and for practical use, the medium is almost free from decrease in the adhesion strength for a long time. |
