NEW MICROORGANISM AUREOBASIDICUM PULLULANS SH88104 & SH8897

摘要

Nnw Aureobasidium pullulans SH 88104, KCTC 8459P (I) and SH 8897, KCTC 8460P (II) are obtained by treating the spores of Aureobasidium pullulans IFO 4464 with NTG and fermenting inthe medium contg. 5 % sucrose, 0.1 % yeast ext., 0.2 % peptone, 0.1 % NaCl etc.. The obtd. (I) and (II) are useful for the prodn.of pullulan but no black pigment. The pullulan is prepd. by shaking fermentation the (I) or (II) in the medium contg. 10 % sucrose, 0.1 % yeast ext., 0.1 % NaCl and 0.06 % MgSO4, and separating from the culture broth.
