PURPOSE: To avoid excessive stress generated in eliminating cement mantle and newly injected cement integrated with each other for avoiding excessive tightening of a tension device especially, and breakage of the cement being eliminated caused by that in a device and method for eliminating the cement mantle used for fixing an artificial device from a bone cavity. CONSTITUTION: Sleeves 28, 30, 32, 34 for measuring depth of a passage in which thread-cut rods 12, 14, 16, 18 are threaded for acting as visual markers for invasion quantity of the rods 12, 14, 16, 18 into cement are provided on the rods 12, 14, 16, 18 for avoiding overfeed of the rods 12, 14, 16, 18 as they are engaged with cement for an artificial joint to be used for eliminating it. A depth gauge 20 provided by both units of the length and the screw rotation number is provided for above measuring function. The sleeve 28, 30, 32, 34 is supported on the rod to freely act to be engaged with an edge of the passage in which the rod 12, 14, 16, 18 is threaded. |
