To support material is firstly brushed and sucked clean, and then hardenable putty is applied and hardened on its upper side. The hardened puttied surface is ground to a smooth finish lightly, and then sucked clean. The support material is then fed to a line in which both sides are coated with adhesive, after which a patter foil in the top side and a stop foil on the under side are pressed into position. - The thus coated plate material is further passed to a lacquering line, where firstly a transparent, electron radiation hardenable lacquer is applied in a mist applciation process, involving upt o 300 g per square metre. The lacquer is then hardened by electron radiation, with the hardened surface lightly ground. A further layer of electron radiation-hardenable, transparent lacquer is applied by roller, and finally electron-radiation-hardened. |
