PURPOSE:To provide a DC power unit which can protect power transistors and can prevent power supply by instantaneous over load such as load fluctuation or the like from being stopped. CONSTITUTION:Collector voltages (5 and 6) of power transistors (3 and 4) to control a current supplied to a load are detected and maximum power reference values (15 and 16) of the power transistors are divided these detected collector voltages with a divider to calculate the instantaneous maximum electrifying current of the power transistor, and this instantaneous maximum electrifying current is compared with a current command to be applied. Then, the power transistors are controlled by the smaller value. |
