PURPOSE:To prevent an electronic part housed in a tape from jolting or jumping out of a pocket by a method wherein a mechanical shock attendant on the up-down motion of a lift rod which feeds the tape in pitches is relaxed. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic part housing tape feed device which feeds a tape 3 by a sprocket 12 pitch-rotating a ratchet wheel 13 by a pawl member 15, a lift rod 20 which drives the pawl member 15 is lessened in ascending or descending rate when the rod 20 bears against a swing arm 17 and when the pawl member 15 bears against the pawl 14 of the ratchet wheel 13, whereby a mechanical shock attendant on the up-down motion of the lift rod 20 can be relaxed. |
