Component carrier for switch cabinet - has carrier plate supporting switch devices secured to hat profile rails

The component carrier is attached to the hat profile rails (1,2) within the switch cabinet and comprises a mounting plate (10) with a hook element (11) at its rear (8), engaging one of these rails (1, 2). The front side (7) of the mounting plate (10) has similar hat profile rails (19, 20) for supporting a group of switch devices which are wired together after mounting on the carrier plate (10) to form a switch module. The carrier plate is secured in the switch cabinet via a locking device (13, 18) pref. comprising a slider (13) and a cooperating retaining hook (18). ADVANTAGE - Allows simple replacement of individual switch modules.
