PURPOSE:To stably execute the rotation control of a disk even at the time of recording an information signal, and also, to execute the retrieval of an address with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:In the optical disk in which a tracking guide groove is formed meanderingly, and which is rotated by CLV control, a meandering period of the tracking guide groove is modulated by a signal obtained by frequency- multiplexing a synchronizing signal for rotation control and an address signal. From a push-pull detecting signal from this optical disk 5, the synchronizing signal is extracted by a band pass filter 24, and a minute address signal of an optical disk 5 is extracted by a high-pass filter 33. Accordingly, a track of a desired address can be retrieved with high accuracy. Address information can be allowed to have a band of the same degree as an information signal recorded in the optical disk 5, therefore, address data of high accuracy can be formatted on the optical disk 5 in advance. |
