PURPOSE:To avoid the overlapped display of elements having content display and to prevent branching lines from crossing by connecting connectors having only reference numbers to the overlapped elements and connecting the content display of the elements representing the overlapped elements to the connectors. CONSTITUTION:In a fault diagnosis system, an external event 3 showing an extraction value, an event 1 which a human being judges and a temporarily provided element 2 showing a fault are connected and branch display is constituted by a complete tree shape. Namely, the connector 1 is connected to the external event 3 and the event 1 instead of the temporarily provided element 2. Since two connectors 1 are displayed, one representative is selected and the temporarily provided element 2 having content display is connected to the connector 1 so as to display it. The connector 2 is similarily introduced as to connection of an external event 4, the event 1 and the temporarily provided element 3, and a content is displayed (temporarily provided 3) in the representative connector. Thus, overlapped display is eliminated and the connector having only information on the reference number of the corresponding element is displayed. |
