Woodworking machine with cutting blades

The woodworking machine has a cutting tool in the form of a ring (3) which supports blades with cutting edges which extend radially inwards. When the blades have been resharpened, the position of each cutting edge is automatically adjusted. Each blade is mounted on a carrier consisting of a block and a clamping plate. The block is fastened to the external cylindrical suface of the ring and the blade is pushed through a slot in the ring wall. The blade is pushed radially inwards by a hydraulic cylinder (27) until it abuts against a stop. The stop is mounted on the table (13) of the fixture (12) which supports the ring whilst the blades are being refitted.
