The sealing ring (1) for the piston of a hydraulic or pneumatic linear actuator, consists of a generally flat strip of elastic material which is bent to a circular form. The strip has a slot in each edge which engages a lip which projects from the wall of the groove in which the ring is fitted. The strip has a central line of perforations which allow lubricant contained in the groove to flow radially outwards to lubricate the rubbing surface of the sealing ring. The shape of the ring enables it to be fitted in the groove with a snap action and yet to remain securely in place. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sealing ring for linear actuator. The ring is easily fitted with a snap action.
