Piston connecting rod for IC engine - has crank bearing guide, to move compression-ignition-injection timing into favourable torque region

The piston connecting rod (1) is for IC engines. It is guided in the cylinder axis, and has a crank bearing guide (3), at an acute angle to the cylinder axis. The system causes a displacement of the max. compression, ignition- and injection timing into a more favourable torque region. USE/ADVANTAGE - IC engine with scotch crank gives increased cylinder pressures with more favourable crank positions, for considerable increase of torque and performance and requires only few changes in excisting engine constructions.
