Mining powered support with an articulated joint connecting sections of the support to each other or to hydraulic servomotors, which joint has a middle lug, two side lugs and, passing through them, a pin, which is secured against falling out, characterized in that one of the side lugs (3) of the articulated joint (1) has a shaped recess (5) holding an insert (6), while part of the perimeter of the shaped recess (5) has a cylindrical surface coaxial with the pin (4), and part of the perimeter is made up of supporting surfaces (8) and (9) for the insert (6), which is prevented from falling outside the profile of the side lug (3) by a clamping element (10), and in addition the insert (6) has a recess (7) resting on the outer surface of the side lug (3).<IMAGE>
