INDUCTION POWER SUPPLY DEVICE HAVING DUTY CYCLE CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective induction power supply system and method which supply selected radio electric energy while maintaining high transfer efficiency.SOLUTION: An induction power supply device 100 maintains resonance frequency with a feedback signal from a secondary circuit, adjusts a duty cycle, and allows a controller 110, a drive device circuit 111, and a switching circuit 115 to work together to generate an AC signal having a selected operation frequency and the duty cycle. The AC signal is applied to a tank circuit 120 for generating an induction electromagnetic field which supplies power to the secondary circuit. The secondary circuit returns the feedback signal on the received electric power to the first controller 110. Power transfer efficiency is optimized by maintaining an operation frequency to the resonance frequency substantially and electric energy to be transferred is controlled by adjusting the duty cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
