PURPOSE:To manufacture an electrode of a zinc bromine battery, in which a bromine adsorption keeping quantity of active carbon fiber on a positive electrode in the zinc bromine battery is. made to be 2.0-2.5mAh/cm<2>. CONSTITUTION:In a carbon plastic sheet which is mixed by high density polyethylene, carbon black, graphite with a composition ratio of 6:3:1, active carbon fiber is thermal-pressed under such a condition that the mold temperature is 160 deg.C, the pressure is 20kgf/cm<2> and the pressing keeping time is 5 minutes to manufacture an electrode. By applying such an electrode manufactured under this condition to a zinc bromine battery, a bromine adsorption keeping quantity of the active carbon fiber on a positive electrode becomes 2.001mAh/cm<2>. |
