Gas or liq. filter body for biological water cleaning - has spaced wall sections forming groups of passageways

A gas or liq. filter body consists of spaced wall sections which form at least two groups of gas or liq. passage channels, the wall sections of two adjacent groups extending in opposite directions from an imaginary plane, in the region of which the wall sections of the two groups include an angle (a) e.g. of 90 deg.. The filter body is in the form of a cube e.g. with a side length of 20-25 mm. Several such bodies are inserted as a loose or stacked filling in a housing to form a filter. USE/ADVANTAGE - The filter body is simple and inexpensive to mfr. and provides optimal filtering. It may be used for biological water cleaning (e.g. in aquaria), waste water cleaning or cleaning of gas and air (esp. waste air).
