A roof covering or wall panelling composed of metal sheets (3, 4) placed side by side is presented. The individual metal sheets of the said covering or panelling are equipped along their two longitudinal edges with longitudinal ribs (1, 2) projecting upwards from the plane of the said sheets and preferably provided in each case with head parts reinforced by means of transversely directed reinforcing beads, and the said sheets can be fixed on a load-bearing structure by means of hook-shaped holders (8) which can be fastened on the said load-bearing structure, the longitudinal ribs of directly neighbouring metal sheets at least partially overlapping and, on the one hand to reduce the material expenditure required for the roof covering and on the other hand at the same time to simplify installation, the hook-shaped holders acting on the respectively overlapping longitudinal rib of neighbouring metal sheets. <IMAGE> |
