PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device with the excellent durability quality, a driving method for the liquid crystal device, and an electronic apparatus with the liquid crystal device.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes a first liquid crystal panel to which blue light is incident, and a second liquid crystal panel to which the color light other than the blue light is incident. Each of the first liquid crystal panel and the second liquid crystal panel includes a peripheral electrode that electrically traps the ionic impurities. The peripheral electrode of the first liquid crystal panel includes a first electrode to which a first potential is supplied, a second electrode to which a second potential is supplied, and a third electrode to which a third potential is supplied and the electrodes are disposed at intervals from an outer edge of a display region toward a sealing material. To each of the first electrode, the second electrode, and the third electrode, AC signals whose phases are deviated by Δt with the same frequency are supplied. To the peripheral electrode of the second liquid crystal panel, the DC potential different from the potential supplied to a common electrode is supplied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
