摘要 A light source for fluorescence printers, wherein no adverse effect of the electric fields caused by the charge of electrons and the control electrodes opposed to each other is produced and the preciseness of electrode patterns is high. On a glass base plate (1), anodes (7) are zigzag arranged in the main scanning direction in two arrays. The two anode arrays are arranged in the auxiliary scanning direction. In the region between the two anode arrays, anode conductors (2, 2) of paired anodes (7, 7), which are adjacent in a zigzag form, are connected by wiring conductors (3a) respectively. The anode arrays are surrounded with electrically-independent control electrodes (4a, 4b) respectively. The two kinds of control electrodes (4a, 4b) face each other in the intermediate area between the two anode arrays. Because of no insulation layer, no adverse effect caused by the charge of electrons is produced. The two anode arrays are hard to suffer from the effect caused by the control electrodes of the anode arrays.
