A device is disclosed for producing electrodes, in particular carbon electrodes for the fused mass electrolysis of aluminium, by shaking a granular mass of artificial carbon. The device has a moulding box (32) held on a machine frame (11) or a similar mounting, a top cover plate (54) that can be moved in relation to the moulding box (32) by means of moving arrangements (52, 53) and a vibrating table (24) associated to a bottom plate (33) and its moving arrangement (36). The device is characterized in that the cover plate (54) with its moving arrangement is mounted on the machine frame (11) or similar mounting at a distance above the moulding box (32). |
