A dentist uses a suction pipe and a mouth mirror to treat the mouth of a patient. The simultaneous use of the two objects to a certain extent impedes the freedom of manual movement available to the dentist. This freedom is available with a so-called combination clamp in which, according to the invention, both a suction pipe and the handle of a mouth mirror are held simultaneously, in such a manner that they are easy to work with. This combination mouth mirror/pipe clamp has small external dimensions, and during treatment to a mouth by the dentist, the objects which are clamped therein are held in such a manner that there will be no undesirable (angular) rotation. Designing the combination clamp from a polycarbonate makes sterilisation possible after use, although it is also possible to employ a disposable version made from polypropylene. <IMAGE>
