This segment (1), formed from at least one cylindrical wall (2) respectively includes at each of its ends a male end fitting (3) and a female end fitting (4), the male end fitting (3) of a segment (1) being capable of being assembled by double interlocking into a female end fitting (4, 4A) of another segment (1). It is characterised in that the female end fitting (4) has a first expanded zone with cylindrical bearing surface (5) capable of allowing a first interlocking (A) of a corresponding end part (6) of the male end fitting (3), the said expanded zone (5) being flared outwards by a counterbend forming a shoulder (7) in order to obtain a second zone (8) with bearing surface coaxial to the first one (5) and able to allow a second interlocking (B) of a corresponding expanded part (9) of an annular snap ring (10) produced as an outward projection on the male end fitting (3) and connected to the end part (6) of the latter (3) by a counterbend forming a part (11) for bearing on the corresponding shoulder (7) of the female end fitting (4). <IMAGE>
