The method expands the picture size with a hardware which increases the processing speed. The circuit includes: a scanner (201) for capturing a picture; a scanner clock generator (203) to provide a control clock; a mode selecter (204) to generate the mode select signal with using the CPU (208) addresses; an expansion counter (202) for outputting the expanding clock; a DMA controller (206) for the direct memory (207) addressing to read and write the scanner inputting serial data.
