PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting flaw of hollow fiber membrane module constituted so as to dispense with the frequent change of a hermetically closing member, and method for inspecting flaw.SOLUTION: This flaw inspection device for a hollow fiber membrane module 18, where the bundles of hollow fiber membranes opened at one end thereof are fixed in a cylindrical casing 10 by a fixing resin, includes: a holder 68 provided with a recessed part in which one end side part of a cylindrical casing can be inserted; an exhaust pipeline 56 opened to the bottom surface of the recessed part at one end thereof to allow the recessed part to communicate with a suction device; a measuring means 54 for measuring the number of fine particles in the air sucked from the recessed part by the suction device; and an annular packing 70 made of soft resin surrounding the opening of the exhaust pipeline on the bottom surface of the recessed part and arranged so as to come into contact with the end surface of the cylindrical casing of the hollow fiber membrane module inserted in the recessed part. |
