PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intervertebral fusion device with an ability to correct spondylolisthesis via lateral insertion and in-situ adjustment.SOLUTION: An intervertebral fusion device comprises an upper endplate 115, a lower endplate, and core components 145, 149 engaged with the upper and lower endplates. The intervertebral fusion device has a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the expanded configuration, the upper endplate does not contact the lower endplate. The upper endplate and upper end portions of the core components move away from the lower end plate during expansion from the collapsed configuration to the expanded configuration, and simultaneously an anterior wall 117 and a posterior wall 119 of the upper endplate move posteriorly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9a |
