An improved visor protectant used as a protective covering for transparent visors and facemasks comprising a substantially planar substrate having on at least one side a coating of a pressuresensitive adhesive having a high shear weight, a low water sensitivity thereby be suitable for exposures involving high humidity, a high thermal stability over a temperature range from less than 0 degrees C to above +60 degrees C and a means for creating a bond between said adhesive and a visor.
