The electric zooming system using an image buffer comprises an analog-to-digital converter, an image buffer, a horizontal operator for performing interpolation of a horizontal direction, a horizontal image buffer for storing image data of a zoomed 1-horizontal line, a vertical operator for implementing interpolation of final horizontal and vertical directions, a timing controller and a digital-to-analog converter, thereby simplifying a hardware construction.
