Independent package including a body of general parallelepipedal shape, closed on its upper and/or lower faces by flaps extending the large faces of the said package, characterised in that an assembly or closure strip which is self-adhesive on a single face and covered by a peel-off protective film is fastened with pivoting on one of the flaps of the upper and/or lower faces, the longitudinal axis of the said strip being parallel to the edge of the said flap and the said strip being fastened so that, by means of pivoting, this strip covers over the contiguous edges of the said flaps and may be fixed, after the said protective film has been torn off, on both flaps over the entire length of the said package. <IMAGE>
