PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing of changing a blur shape on an imaged image, without using a special method at the time of imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a micro-lens array 20 as a pupil division element for limiting a light flux incident on pixels on an imaging element 6 within a specific pupil area of an imaging lens; an image processing unit 7 for acquiring pixel output signals from the imaging element 6 before adding pixel data to generate synthesis pixel data; an operation detection unit 11 that, when a blur shape to be used in blurring a bright point has been selected by a user, detects the user's operation before notifying a camera system control unit 5; and the camera system control unit 5 that controls a weighting coefficient value to be multiplied by the pixel data of bright point, according to shape information that has been selected by the user's operation and is to be used in blurring the bright point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
