A filter cartridge has an outer filter cage (12) with a fastening end (14) and a free end (16). An inner filter cage (28) extends inside the outer filter cage (12), to which it is fastened, from the free end (16) in the direction of the fastening end (14). The outer filter cage (12) is enveloped by a filter hose (40) open at the fastening end (14) and turned inside-out at the free end (16). From there the filter hose (40) extends inside the inner filter cage (28) with a decreasing diameter in the direction of the fastening end (14). The filter hose (40) has a closed end (42) at a distance from the fastening end (14). A clamping device (54) holds stretched the filter hose (40). A support cage (44) whose diameter also diminishes in the direction of the fastening end (14) is arranged inside the part of the filter hose (40) which is turned inside out. The support cage (44) has an end (48) which supports the end (42) of the hose. The clamping device (54) engages the support cage (44). |
