PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR FITTING A STRIP-LIKE ELASTIC COMPONENT TO THE CLAMPING SECTION OF THE BRACKET OF A PIPE CLIP

The proposal is for a process and device for fitting a strip-like elastic component (11) to the clamping section (4) of the bracket (3) of a pipe clip. The elastic component (11) is moved with the aid of a drive device (18) along a guideway (27) to a holding device (16). The bracket (3) to be fitted is arranged here in such a way that its fitting point (26) lies in the guideway (27). The elastic component (11) is then placed at the fitting point (26) with its frontal end region (33) forward and pushed in the peripheral direction of the bracket (3) into the desired position of use. This makes for very simple and time-saving fitting.
