PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new filling method that can prevent occurrence of bridging in a shoot for supplying an article into a tubular bag and a packaging device that executes the method.SOLUTION: In the filling method, articles M that drop down from above are stored in a funnel-like shoot 103 while giving vertical vibration to the shoot, the shoot is made to move down while accelerating the shoot, with an eject port of the shoot opened, and articles collected in the shoot are ejected into a tubular bag TB while accelerating the articles collected in the shoot. A packaging device B comprises a cylinder 7 that fills the articles dropping down into the tubular bag and makes the shoot to move up and down in the cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
