Device of a deformable wheel for negotiating the treads of stairs. he centre of the wheel is composed of three discs (1) on which four half-rings (2) are articulated. A spring (6) holds the half-ring (2) after having taken up its abutment position (7). Half-rings (3) articulated in half will be articulated themselves to the ends of the half-rings (2). A spring (4 and 8) holds the half-ring (3) after having taken its abutment position (9). A triangle pinned to the ends of the half-rings (3) will act as feet. <IMAGE>
