<p>2. In continuous surface pressing, a pressure chamber is allocated to each working strand of the endless press band, which pressure chamber is sealed off from the atmosphere in an encircling manner by means of a sealing strip. These sealing strips are exposed to high pressures and temperatures. 2.1 The object of the invention is to prolong the life of these sealing strips. 2.2 To achieve this object, compact shaped bodies (7) arranged at a distance from one another and made from a solid lubricant are embedded in the plastic sealing strips (4), which shaped bodies (7) are supported with an exposed working surface (8) on the allocated strand of the press band. 2.3 The device is used for producing wooden boards and laminates for the furniture industry, for the electrical industry and for other industrial branches. <IMAGE></p> |
