The invention relates to door hinges for doors of motor vehicles. The door hinge 18 comprises a first hinge part 22 and a second hinge part 24 which are connected fixedly to the frame of the vehicle and to the door respectively. The two hinge parts 22, 24 are connected to one another by means of a hinge pin 26, so that, during the opening and closing of the door, the second hinge part 24 can rotate in relation to the first hinge part 22. A compression spring 28 is fastened to the first hinge part 22. Two rollers 74, 76 having a profiled outer face are fastened rotatably to the second hinge part 24, specifically by means of axle studs 78, 80 parallel to one another, but offset relative to one another. The two rollers 74, 76 are operatively connected to a transverse portion 54 of the compression spring 28, in such a way that one of the rollers 74 engages into the spring 28 when the door is closed, both rollers 74, 76 engage into the spring 28 when the door is in a mid-position, and the second roller 76 engages into the spring 28 when the door is opened completely. <IMAGE> |
