The invention describes an improved impact-absorbing apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F) for a portable unit (100) in which the apparatus comprises elastic means (2a,2b,2c,2d,2e,2f,2g) configured for functioning between a constrained state (ST1 ) in which they are associated to the apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F) in a retracted position preloaded with elastic energy, and a released state (ST2) in which they at least partially release the elastic energy and become positioned in a position at least partly projecting from said apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F), the apparatus further comprising change state means (30) configured for passing the elastic means (2a,2b,2c,2d,2e,2f,2g) from the constrained state to the released state (ST2) as a function of a detection of absence of contact on the apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F), thus predisposing said apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F) for absorbing a possible impact. The invention also describes an impact-absorbing method for a portable unit. The invention further describes an impact-absorbing system comprising the impact apparatus (1,1 A,1 B,1 C,1 D,1 E,1 F) and the portable unit (100). The invention further describes a portable unit (100) configured for absorbing an impact. |
