PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial type switch that can prevent its appearance from being less attractive, and also can prevent trouble due to secular change from occurring while reducing costs by decreasing the number of components.SOLUTION: In a dial type switch 1 that includes an LED 6, a disk-like panel 3 whose display surface 3a emits light with light emitted by the LED 6, a cylindrical rotary knob 2 which is arranged on an outer peripheral side of the panel 3 and has a ring part 7 at a front end part 2a, and a cylindrical base part 5 which holds the panel 3, and performs predetermined switch movement through the rotation operation of the rotary knob 2 around a center axis Ax, the base part 5 is arranged between the rotary knob 2 and panel 3, and blocks the light from the LED 6 which is emitted from the outer peripheral surface 31 of the panel 3 while covering the outer peripheral surface 31. |
