Material, e.g. paint, for reducing radar wave reflection

A material (I) for reducing reflection of radar waves consists of several alternating layers of (a) a first type contg. magnetic particles in a polymeric binder; and (b) a second type contg. non-magnetic, non-metallic highly electrically conductive particles in a polymeric binder. The binder in at least one (pref. both) of (a) and (b) is also charged, with hollow microspheres (HMS) of glass or synthetic resin, having dia. below 200 microns. Also claimed is a paint (II) for applying a coating of (I) to a support, contg. a solvent for the polymeric binder which forms part of the compsn. of the partic. layer (a) or (b).
