The glasses (3) are fixed to a safety helmet (1) which is retractable into a recess (2) in front. Each arm (4) of the glasses has an axle on its end (4a) which engages in an oblong hole (6) in the lateral wall of the helmet. The glasses pivot downwards on the axle, and the axle moves horizontally in the hole to position the glasses in front of the eyes. The glasses are moved by pulling on feet (7) on each arm. The arms can be telescopic or have articulated rods forming a knuckle joint.
