Timepiece comprising a face (3), hands (1, 2) and a clock movement (5) for driving said hands (1, 2). The timepiece is characterized by a visible escapement mechanism (6 to 8), mounted on said face (3) on the same side as the hands (1, 2) and linked to means for its displacement. Said mechanism comprises, in a manner known per se, an espace wheel (6), a balance wheel (7) and a pallet fork (8). Said pallet fork (8) is characterized by having, on the opposite side of the balance wheel (7), two diverging balancing arms (8e), bent outwards (8f) and including, on the end thereof, a weight-forming protuberance (8g). |
