Water sprinkler for connection to a high-pressure water line in an artificial irrigation system, comprising: a spray part 1 which has a hollow inner chamber 2, an inlet channel 3 for leading water to the inner chamber, and a number of radial spray openings 4 which lead through the wall of the spray part and are used for spraying water out from the inner chamber; and a deflector part 5 having a cup-like deflector surface 6 widening outwards and upwards from the centre and arranged annularly and symmetrically around the spray openings 4 for the purpose of deflecting the water jets from the spray openings upwards and breaking them up into water droplets for irrigation. <IMAGE>
