A process for constructing, by means of prefabricated concrete elements, sound-insulation barriers A and B which are formed by means of the longitudinal juxtaposition of the elements 1 which fit together in a "male/female" manner 3. The system for connecting the element 1 to the foundation E and F, 4 involves a specific device which simultaneously allows the connection and the support of the element. The foundation is formed by a prefabricated concrete slab 4, of parallelepipedal geometry, with a cavity in the upper face 8, which allows the fitting-together of located projections 5 which exist on the elements 1. The "barrier/foundation" connection is completed with the insertion of two steel rods 7 which pass through the element 1 and the foundation 4. Subsequently, the cavity 4 is sealed with concrete in order to guarantee the solidity of the assembly and the protection of the rods. <IMAGE>
