Improved process, carried out in the solid state, for preparing compounds based on bismuth vanadate, the improvement consisting in wet milling of the reaction products in alkaline solution or wet milling with subsequent alkaline treatment. The compounds thus obtained are luminous yellow pigments having high tinctorial strength. |
