Connector for very low voltage linking optical contact to cable

The connector includes a link which is protected by a covering tube in a sheath. This applies a pressure on a contact in position. The contacts are enclosed within the sheath. Connection between a contact and a transmission cable is formed by contact by putting an end of a plug into a receiving ring. A removal of a male contact does not alter a position of the sheath relative to a support in which it is included. The sheath is rigid. The male contact is encased in a water repelling material such as silicon resin.
