Apparatus for medical treatment via the respiratory organs by supplying to a patient a gas mixture in accurately regulated proportions. The apparatus comprises a mixing unit (40) for the gases, a ventilator unit (41) for forced respiration and a connection (81) to a patient's system and connection conduits (42) between the mixing unit and the ventilator unit. The mixing unit (40) comprises a main conduit (55, 56) for each of the gases which are to be dosed separately from these branch conduits (60, 65) each provided with a throttling (61, 66) adapted to the intended gas flow through the branch conduit in question and coupling parts (62, 67) for connection for the hose system (62). By connection of the hose system which has coupling parts (87, 88) corresponding to the coupling parts of the branch conduit (62, 67), the flow of the different gases can be adapted by choice of the connection of the hose system (42) to one of the branch conduits for each gas and thereby through choice of such a branch conduit the throttling of which gives the desired flow. |
