<p>An implement for milking animals, such as cows, comprises a milking parlour with rod-like frame parts (2, 9) in the longitudinal direction of the milking parlour, and a milking robot with a substantially horizontal robot arm (7) adapted to carry teat cups (80) which are automatically connectable to the teats of an animal. The implement further comprises a vertical frame beam (6) slidable with respect to the milking parlour in the longitudinal direction along one of the rod-like frame parts (2, 9). The robot arm (7) is connected slidably in height to this frame beam (6) and is provided with detection means (75) with the aid of which the teat cups (80) are separately positioned under a respective teat in order to be connected thereto by upward moving said teat cup (80). <IMAGE></p> |
