A programmed toilet flush control device positioned outside or inside the toilet cistern, wherein simply turning a knob or lever clockwise or anti-clockwise by hand causes a plunger secured to a valve opening/closing control rod to be moved up or down to release a predetermined amount of water. The device includes a first, outer ring (8) with a recessed portion having a predetermined shape shown in figure 2, and a second, inner ring (2) surrounding the head of a cylindrical piston (12) secured to a projection (13), and having a predetermined shape for controlling the movement of the projection (13) and releasing the desired amount of water. Furthermore, two circular return springs (10, 11) are fitted in a circular groove in the control knob and connected to a movable abutment and a stationary abutment, and the cylindrical core of the plunger optionally contains a hollow tip (12").
